Overcoming a sixteen-point hole in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight win.
While the Rams had become the first to earn a post-season berth earlier on Sunday, the Seahawks booked their return to the play-offs after a 24-month absence.
With this result, the Seattle have taken over their division's standings with a twelve and three record, replacing the Rams, who dropped to the number five seed with an eleven and four record.
